Speech bubble maker FAQ

Is this speech bubble maker free?
Yes, completely free. There is no account, no watermark, and no limit on how many images you make.
Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser, and your image never leaves your device.
Which speech bubble shapes can I use?
Six: rounded, rectangle, oval, thought (a cloud with trailing circles), burst for shouting, and whisper, which keeps a dashed edge. Each one can be filled, filled with an outline, or left as an outline with the inside transparent so the photo shows through.
Can I point the tail at the person speaking?
Yes. The tail pad sets eight directions, so it can point up, down, left, right, or diagonally out of any corner. Choose the middle cell for a caption box with no tail at all.
What fonts can I use?
Four, covering the looks people actually want on a bubble: a comic face, a casual handwritten face, a heavy impact face, and a clean sans. They are built into the page, so your download looks the same on every device.
What image formats are supported?
PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, SVG, and BMP. Downloads keep the original format for PNG, JPG, and WebP; everything else is saved as PNG (animated GIFs get a single frame).
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Drag the bubble with one finger, pull any corner handle to resize it, and type into the text box below the image.
